'Focus' is an onging personal project inspired by Hiroshi Sugimoto, and an exploration of the concept of focus in visual imagery. In our minds, we can easily visualise novel objects, places and ideas, but as we are about to move them into the tangible, real world, it usually turns out they aren't as clear as we thought them to be. This is to be expected and it is how our brain works; our ideas, emotions, and thoughts up are made up of many abstract parts that our brain turn into something we experience as tangible, but in fact is not. 'Focus' is an evolving meditation on this very human and inevitable precondition for life and creativity.
